Timberlink supplies kiln-dried Baltic hardwood by the container to firewood merchants, garden centres and stove retailers across the UK, Ireland, USA, Middle East, Finland, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden and Norway. Everything ships from yards we control — so the spec on the invoice is the spec on the pallet.
Experience
We have been working with Baltic hardwood for over a decade — sourcing from managed Latvian forestry, kiln-drying and checking every load and shipping full containers into northern Europe and around the world every week of the year.
Most of our volume goes to repeat buyers: merchants who need consistent moisture, predictable lead times and packaging that arrives sale-ready. That standard is set by ten years of learning what goes wrong when it isn't, and building the process to prevent it.
Quality control
Every load is moisture-tested per crate with calibrated meters — under 20% is a guarantee, not a target. Species are graded before packing, crates are weighed, and the container is photographed before the seal goes on.
Ready to Burn certification, phytosanitary paperwork and packing lists travel with every shipment. If something arrives outside spec, we know exactly which crate, which kiln batch and which day it was packed.
