Format · Palletised Firewood

Wholesale firewood on shrink-wrapped pallets.

Palletised firewood is how modern merchants actually receive stock — forklift-friendly, weatherproof, easy to inventory. We ship kiln-dried hardwood, retail bags, kindling and briquettes on Euro or industrial pallets, fully shrink-wrapped, ready for your yard the moment the container opens.

Euro & industrial pallets

1200 x 800mm Euro pallets and 1200 x 1000mm industrial pallets. Custom spec available on request.

Fully shrink-wrapped

Weatherproof wrap and top strapping on every pallet. Loads arrive dry and intact.

24–33 pallets per 40ft container

24 pallets on the floor, up to 33 double-stacked depending on product density. We optimise the pattern per order.

Why palletised firewood beats loose loads

A loose tipped load looks cheap on paper — until you factor in the labour to stack it, the yard space it eats while doing so, and the moisture pickup from a soggy heap. Palletised firewood removes all of that. It comes off the container, onto the forklift, straight into stock.

For merchants with EPOS-linked inventory, palletisation also gives you SKU-level accuracy from the first day the load lands.

What we ship on pallets

1m³ hardwood crates: one crate per pallet, ~60 crates per 40ft container.

2m³ hardwood crates: one crate per pallet, ~32 crates per 40ft container.

40L retail bags: ~60 bags per pallet, ~24 pallets per 40ft container.

22L retail bags: ~90 bags per pallet, ~24 pallets per 40ft container.

Kindling: ~300 x 3L, 200 x 5L, or 100 x 10L per pallet.

Wood briquettes: ~960kg per pallet, 24 pallets per 40ft container.

Mixing product on one container

Most of our buyers mix formats within a single container: a few pallets of oak crates, a stack of birch retail bags, some kindling, a couple of briquette pallets. It smooths margin across trade and retail channels without adding freight cost.

Frequently asked

What pallet sizes do you use?+

Standard Euro pallets (1200 x 800mm) and industrial pallets (1200 x 1000mm). Custom pallet spec available for buyers with automated handling systems.

Yes. Every pallet is fully shrink-wrapped and top-strapped for weatherproof transit. Loads arrive intact even after multi-mode freight.

How many pallets fit in a 40ft container?+

24 Euro pallets on the floor, or up to 33 if double-stacked (subject to product density). We optimise the stack pattern per order.
